The good news: even if some things are entirely up in the air, I couldn’t be happier. Plus, there was a new episode of Game of Thrones tonight, so how could I not be happy?
The bad news: just found out that I need to go in for surgery, which has now been scheduled. 2 weeks and some odd days to go, yikes.
Ladies and gents, I introduce you to bad boy Mike Lizarraga. Check out the hilarious video, I make a guest appearance.

My birthday may be several months away, but I would like to have an ice cream piñata at my birthday party. Though I may not look it, I’ll officially be in my mid-twenties this year, that fact does not stop me from wanting one.

Starting the month off leaving one job and ready to embark on new adventures. Bring it May!
Plus May 1st is my best friend’s birthday (Happy birthday Robert!) and the first day Matt gets to call himself an uncle (congrats my love).
Here’s to making May a kick ass month.

Too sweet for me not to repost.
In Le Petit Prince, Matej Peljhan captures the imagination of a 12 year old boy with muscular dystrophy though the magic of photography. Instead of using Photoshop, Matej created the illusion of flying by angling his shots from above while using a simple white sheet as a backdrop.

When it rains in pours and in this case everything is good, new, and exciting. For a while there I was in the “why am I still doing this?” boat. Like so many people around me, my day job has been driving me up the wall. Slowly I’ve found some peace and options are starting to turn up. THANK YOU (whoever you thank when good things happen)!
Every Tuesday when I leave my acting class, I don’t just walk out feeling inspired, but also feeling like I’ve just learned a detrimental life lesson. This Tuesday’s life lesson happened to do with jobs. Doing things we don’t love in order to pursue what we do. Finding the balance and reasons to be happy, and if you can’t quit. We learn to rely on things out of fear and not necessity.
Alright, that’s enough “life lessons and career” mumbo jumbo!
Now, for the exciting news! Right now I’m in the process of developing and soon staring in a webseries with my neighbors. It’s going to be a cross between It’s Always Sunny and Community. Stay tuned, because updates are coming! Also, yesterday I auditioned for my first pilot! Alas, it wasn’t the next Game of Thrones (I want to be Khaleesi!), but exciting nevertheless!
Now on to the totally uninteresting thing on my mind at the moment- I really want a blender before I end up spending all my money at the raw organic smoothie place up the street. Hipsters in LA problems, I know.

A new song from Daft Punk is always cause for excitement, but with the addition of vocals from Pharell Williams and guitar from Chic’s Nile Rodgers, “Get Lucky” is an undeniable smash. Our DJs jumped all over the track, which is sure to get you dancing.
I just can’t seem to get enough of this song.
